The new ISV success Program is now available in Partner Center! If you are wondering what is the ISV success program? Its the new Partner program for Independent Software Vendors that is free with packed resource worth more than $100.000 retail value. Check the program: ISV Success Program Overview | Microsoft Now when you log in Partner center, you can find the page in the Workspaces section by clicking on Membership . You’ll then see the ISV Success program towards the top of the navigation panel (see snip below). As a Microsoft Partner it's quite likely that you have seen the announcements on the Microsoft Partner Network Program (MPN) evolving into the new Microsoft Cloud Partner Program (MCPP) effective in October 2022. Overview content of different designations at Evolving the Microsoft Partner Network programs To attain a Solutions Partner designation, partners need to earn a minimum of 70 points (with points in each sub-category) out of the possible 100 points that are available. Performance : Measured by net customer adds Skilling : Demonstrates your dedication to skilling and training with intermediate and advanced certifications Customer success: Measured by usage growth and the number of solution deployments. If you are an ISV that has a services component to your business, then you can choose to pursue a Solutions Partner designation and specializations for that part of your business. Partner Membershipchanges for specifically ISV partners. 1. For ISV Partners currently active in MPN with Silver or Gold Competency : The silver and gold competencies from today will no longer be recognized after September 30th 2022. On our anniversary date after September 2022, if you don't meet the requirements for the solutions partner designation, you will have the option to pay the fee and retain your legacy benefits , until your next anniversary date. 2. For ISV Partners currently using the Microsoft Action Pack : you can continue to leverage these benefits as they are not related to any MPN Competency. For Partners who cannot renew legacy benefits? Microsoft will focus on Industry designations going forward. For ISVs that already have a mature market presence , we're working on accreditations to recognize, differentiate, and reward your existing intellectual property that's in high demand. These designations differentiate solutions based on their demonstrated performance with customers, technical maturity and customer success. What is Co-Selling? When Microsoft sellers engage partners for any collaborative selling towards end customers is known as co-sell. Microsoft invests in co-selling because it drives value for our customers—by delivering a holistic solution suited to their needs—and drives growth for us and our partners—by expanding sales opportunities. For Microsoft, this process includes shared activities like building demand, sales planning, sharing leads, accelerating partner-to-partner selling, and delivering Marketplace-led commerce. Benefits of Microsoft Co-sell Program The co-sell program is available for any collaborative engagement between the partner and Microsoft sellers, other partners, or directly to the customer through Microsoft commercial marketplace. The benefits of co-selling with Microsoft include: Building demand Collaborative sales planning Sharing sales leads Accelerating partner-to-partner empowered selling Showcase your company’s solutions directly to customers and be discoverable to sellers through the commercial marketplace. Leverage the Microsoft brand and global footprint to build customer trust and strengthen existing relationships. Read more on the Co-sell requirements - Partner Center | Microsoft Learn & Microsoft commercial marketplace transact capabilities | Microsoft Learn Ask for support in our Open Office hours Overview of the Microsoft Co-sell Process flow Utilizing Co sell to attractlarge enterprise customers that have a Microsoft Agreement Microsoft Azure Consumption Commitment (MACC) is a customer's spend commitment for Azure services over a fixed time frame. The “MACC” program , allows enterprise customers to decrement (accrue) their Azure spend commitment to Microsoft by purchasing third party software and services through the Azure Marketplace. The MACC program creates a strong incentive for buyers to drive transactions through Microsoft commercial marketplace. The number of enterprises having a MACC agreement is expected to increase substantially over the next fiscal year, which should drive more transacting via SaaS listings in the Marketplace. Partners have a chance to have their solutions eligible for enterprise customers, known as " MACC eligible ". The solution has to both have the following status. The Partner Solution must be transactable through Azure Marketplace. The Solution must have the Azure IP co sell incentive status. Eligible offers will be identified in azure portal with filter "Azure benefit eligible" making it super easy for customers to purchase offers right throughtheir azure accounts.
