Episode 158 of Microsoft Cloud and Hosting Partner Online Meeting is set for Tuesday October 15
Running a risk here publishing the approved slides early so you have a chance to review and use them to follow along tomorrow, Tuesday October 15 at 12:30pm Sydney time. Last time I did so it was an "Epic Fail" as on the very morning of the Online Meeting the Microsoft 365 Copilot Wave 2 capabilities were released. Oh well ... taking a risk is investing in excitement😃 The feature topic for this meeting will be "Update on Azure Virtual Desktop" to be presented by Lourens Van Dyk, Partner Solutions Architect for Azure Core Infrastructure. As usually we'll also look at recent updates to the Commerce and Operations; general business and technology announcements; forthcoming events; and skilling. Please find attached to this post the slides for the meeting and if you are not already registered it's not too late. Just click here. I hope to see you online tomorrow. I recently missed my Action Pack Renewal. This was because I did not receive a specific renewal notification. I did receive 'Action required: Link your Partner Center account to Microsoft billing profile' and 'Partner Center account successfully linked to Microsoft billing profile' emails and although these emails mention this was required before renewal and did give the date by which renewal had to be completed this was some time in the future and was not recorded. It was overlooked because in previous years I had received a specific 'Renewal Email' had been sent. I do feel that a specific email should have been issued.113Views0likes0CommentsSlides from Episode 156 of Microsoft Cloud and Hosting Partner Monthly Online Meeting now available
Hi everyone, please find here the content from the Cloud and Hosting Partner Online Meeting held on Tuesday August 20. In the session we covered highlights from various Commerce and Operations webinars held over the past 30 days, a discussion on questions raised last meeting and via the online form in segment called "Menagerie", some of the changes in content from past meetings, general news in the last month, and some of the recent and forthcoming Skilling opportunities. Enjoy the content and to those that joined in person ... thank you. Regards, Phil762Views3likes0CommentsSolution partner Attainment
Just interested to know if anyone else finds this program challenging. Just got off a session with Microsoft and from what we reviewed in our Partner portal, this is close to impossible to achieve. Microsoft are very out of touch and seem more interested in growth than development. Complete waste of our time.582Views3likes2CommentsMAPS Excessive Price Increase
I just renewed my MAPS subscription. As a background I'm a one person organisation. For many years the price was A$440 inc GST. This year, the price was over A$710 inc GST. Which is a price increase of over 75%. I was told this was because now all pricing is based on USD so I'm paying the equivalent of US$400, and that it's not a price increase. I'm posting this to raise my objection to the exhorbitant price increase, and find out if other people have also been similarly effected.1KViews1like1CommentIntroducing the SMB Assessment Desk
