Colours within task notes
Hello, I noticed that when copying text from elsewhere, it does copy the colors, but I cannot find any way of replicating this myself. Are there tags or markers to use to be able to use colours (red or green or blue) when writing? It does seem like the notes can support them since they do stay without any issue when copied from elsewhere. Thanks for your help
To Do: scrolling bug
You can’t scroll all the way down in longer notes anymore in the Android app. The keyboard covers part of the note. I already tried to update it an reinstall it. Many users have this problem. This makes the app almost unusable. I'm on OneUi 7. I attached a screenshot with a transparent keyboard.
Feature Asymmetry
Does anyone else find the feature asymmetry between the web & android versions to be a little odd? Also everything feels stagnant like all the To Do engineers moved to the Copilot Team (haha, but no really :) Categories is the biggest oddity. It's been on web to-do for years now. Then there's the sorting differences between web & android. Android actually has more sorting capabilities? That seems wierd. And last but not least... The web version kinda retained the old (and quite magical) "To Do" view of: Today Tomorrow This Week Next Week (this was so useful, why'd you remove it?!? Later What I struggle with is these are core features to task management as they exist on every other platform, and they all originally existed in Outlook! Strange that the phone l app and the web app (presumably using the same back-end APIs) have such different usability.
Email notifications when a new TO DO task is assigned to me?
Hi, I just started using Microsoft To Do as a shared task manager with my team and we created a shared list of tasks so we can all be on the same page. However, I'm trying to figure out if it's possible for team members to receive an EMAIL notification when a there is a new task assigned to them. I did turn on notifications for "shared list activity" but I'm not receiving any notifications or emails. Any insight would be much appreciated!Microsoft To Do: Problems with the Bell Sound
I love this app. It's easy to use and the sound it makes when I complete a task is amazing. My sounds have recently stopped working however and I am very disappointed. No matter how many times I turn them on and off in the preferences there is no change in the app. Does anyone have any recommendations? The number one reason I use this app is because of the sounds it makes. I use it with an iMac (my os is Catalina) in case this can help.Microsoft TO DO language Change
Hello All, we are worked under cloud workplace , one of our user using MS to do application in his laptop all of sudden her MS to DO language change to turkey and this is happened for only one user , please help. Steps taken; 1.change the windows language and checked 2.checked and changed the browser language but no luck thanks in advance
To Do SUCKS
I don't know who--or what team--designed To Do, but it is absolutely horrendous and is no replacement for Outlook Tasks, which gave you a FULL SCREEN to make notes, and it was easy to do (not pun intended) anything, but To Do opens a tiny window in the middle of the screen that CANNOT be resized, so you have a tiny, tiny pane on the right-hand side of this tiny screen to scroll up and down reading notes. It's beyond horrible. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE can someone at Microsoft go back to the drawing boards and make an app that fills the whole screen, can be resized, and is easy to use?!
'Ghost' To Do Task Visible in Counter of 'All' - But Nowhere Else - Unable to View 'All'
I have an interesting case in Classic Outlook (Version 2511). There is an extra item in the 'All' counter in To Do that is only visible in one instance of Outlook. If I use Outlook on the web or the To Do app itself - all tasks and counts are accurate. Even the Planner app in Teams shows the correct tasks and number of them. In fact - in my Outlook Classic at home it even works properly. But not in my Outlook Classic at work. In fact - if you try to click on the 'All' itself - the display simply blanks out and you have to close and re-open Outlook to get To Do to open again. I've tried the obvious already. Thinking because it only happens here - I've already completely wiped my ost file and rebuilt it from scratch. I've started outlook with various 'clean' flags. None of them have been able to clear the phantom count that will crash To Do from within classic Outlook. What is being overlooked? As you can see below - the number of 'All' is always one more than what it should be.Tasks show up twice in To Do module in Outlook On Desktop
I have a strange problem with my tasks in the To Do module when it is used inside the Outlook app installed on my Windows PC. Some tasks show up twice there. When I check other places the task is listed only once there: On the To Do Webapp in the browser In the To Do App on my Android Phone When I start Outlook in the browser and check the To Do module there But on my Desktop in the Outlook App the task is listed twice. When I mark it a completed on my To Do app on my Android Phone one of the two task shown gets marked as completed (and is shown as completed in all three places mentioned above), however the other one stays in the not completed status. Triggering the Sync in the To Do module in Outlook does not solve the issue, restarting Outlook does not solve it as well. I have to delete the second task manually in the To Do module. This is really annoying because I get the reminder for a task from the outlook app on Windows but cannot really use Outlook to manage the task there. Hi everyone, I've been using Microsoft To Do for years and have always been able to share lists with my family. Now, when I send my wife or son an invitation link, they get an error message saying the list isn't available and they can't join. Here's what I've tried so far: I created a new invitation link and confirmed they're signed in with their Microsoft accounts. I tried using the app on their iPad or iPhone, and also on my MacBook. I checked if the list still exists. Despite all this, sharing still doesn't work. Has something changed with To Do sharing? Is there a new requirement or setting I need to enable? Sharing lists issue
Have started using MS to do lists, have created certain tasks and tried sharing via email, WhatsApp , FB messenger and each attempt fails, the recipient receives the link but tries to open the link and gets a message that they can’t join and to contact the owner, I get notification to say user added but they are not. I’m using the iOS app and the recipients are using an android app on a Samsung phone, any ideas please what is wrong
Microsoft To Do not working
Hello, My Microsoft To Do application is not working since I bought Office 365 Personal. The app shows a message "Gettings tasks list ready..." and it loads indefinitely. I tested on Windows application Microsoft To Do, Web application on Edge, Chrome or Firefox via https://to-do.live.com, Microsoft To Do application on iOS or Android, and also on different computers. It seems that my account is broken... The Microsoft support gave me the following ticket number 7091736234 Anyone can help me to solve this issue ? Thank you
Tasks assigned to someone else showing on my planned list.
I have a couple of shared lists that my partner and I use to assign tasks that we need each other to complete. I assign a task to him – he adds a due date to it depending on when he can fit it into his schedule and vice versa. We switched over from Wunderlist to To Do — they both seemed to function pretty similarly so it seemed like the perfect switch with Wunderlist shutting down. But there's 1 issue I'm having... tasks assigned to HIM show up on MY planned list when he adds his due date. Is there a way to stop his tasks from showing up on my list?ToDo dosen´t synchronize right
Hey guys, I need your help with a specific Microsoft ToDo problem. I use ToDo via the Program for Windows 10, via the Outlook integration, as well as via the App for IOS. I'm, of course, logged in with the same account, but it seems like ToDo dosen´t synchronize right between the IOS program & the Windows 10 program on one side and the Outlook integration on the other side. When I add a list or task in the Outlook integration, it doesn´t appear in the other 2 programs at all (and the other way around). It seems like both programs work completely independently, almost as if I use two different accounts. Does anybody know help? Thanks, guys ;)Feature request - adjustable scales and fonts
Hello, I'm using the ToDo app, it's very nice for me to coordinate daily tasks. On Win10 laptop with 15 inches, as a default it works 1920x1080 and 125% scale, and other apps work fine. But about ToDo, the font is a bit too large and I can only see 10 tasks at once. So I hope we can adjust the scale or fonts. For now, I can use ToDo via Web Browser and adjust the scale, but I hope I can do it with App. Best regards,Microsoft ToDo not showing badges counts on a Mac
Hi all, I've the latest versions of both Mac OsX and Microsoft ToDo. Unfortunately, the app is not showing the badged in the dock's icon. I've already tried to switch off and re-switch on the "Badge application icon" into the Notification menù of OsX. I've already tried to delete the app and re-install it.
