Azure User Expresses Concern
A customer opened ticket SR#2407190040010082 as their consumption sku APIM service was stuck updating: Now that the service has exited that "updating" status I am able to resume working with it. The concern I want to share with you is my concern with how the system responds to a certificate error and gets stuck in that "updating" state. We know that network and login activities can fail on occasion. When APIM responds by getting stuck in that state it cannot be updated and it cannot be deleted and recreated. This issue lasted for a day before APIM eventually emerged from that state for reasons I am unaware. I was powerless and had to keep going back to check. Yes, this case is resolved but I hope that this feedback can be shared with the team in the hopes that a fix or enhancement to better handle this situation can be implemented.387Views5likes1CommentApplication Insights PHP SDK or Opentelemetry support
Hi everyone, We are using Symfony framework which is built based on PHP. Our application is hosted on App Service and so far we have been using the https://github.com/microsoft/ApplicationInsights-PHP, which is actually not maintained anymore. I have seen since a couple of months some updates regarding usage of OpenTelemetry to send data to Application Insights as another possibility than using SDK for a given stack. Is there any update on when OpenTelemetry with PHP is supported with Application Insights if this is not the case yet? Any example of implementation people could share? Thank you in advance for your help on this! Valentin.Valentin_WatelJun 14, 2023Copper Contributor2.9KViews3likes0CommentsDoes Azure provide DDoS protection for its PaaS services?
Hi, I am working on a project wherein we will deploy Storage Account, KeyVault, ServiceBus, CosmosDB, and SQL DB in our subscription. All these services will be deployed with public access enabled, and we will only add private endpoints for local VNet traffic. From a security perspective, should I explicitly add DDoS protection to the above-mentioned services, or do they come with built-in DDoS protection? Example: Would a DDoS attack be able to bring down a Storage Account Blob Service (test.blob.core.windows.net)?pradeepchouhanJul 26, 2024Copper Contributor450Views2likes2CommentsAzure SRE Agent Demo - Incident Management v01

App[ Service restore functionality on the portal allows restoring to different target slot/app service. However the database (if it's included in the restore) can only be restored to the original database (overwrite). I talked to Microsoft support and they confirmed that this is by design but I doesn't make sense to allow changing the target for the site but not the database.DuraidOct 14, 2021Copper Contributor796Views1like1CommentCan I merge the ADF_Publish branch to a different branch ?
We are designing a branching strategy for an data application which uses ADF and Data Brick . Question is if one can merge the ADF_publish branch to the release branch and then from the release branch run the deployment . Is it possible or we must use default created ADF_Publish branch .RubensoSep 30, 2021Copper Contributor677Views1like1Comment
