I agree with Susan. As LAN Admin in a financial institution and since we are federally regulated for Safety and Soundness, this uncertainty element for patches is really bad. If it wasn't bad enough Microsoft's updates are all bundled together in to one massive download making it impossible to troubleshoot when a patch breaks something like a core piece of software, but now we won't have a clear date far enough in advance to test; that is unacceptable!!
After 1609 I setup a IBM Tivoli server on site to help make updating more manageable in our own timeline and test groups so we can mitigate issues if needed.
Sounds like I need to set the Update Service on all of our company's workstations to manual or disable until Microsoft figures it out.
And also, What is up with Xbox app still being forced on Windows Pro??? Believe it our not Companies don't let their employees play Xbox at WORK!
