We are a education environment with 100's of servers. We went from WSUS, and tried System Center but it would not schedule the reboot out of hours. Then Microsoft came out with this wonderful solution Automation Update Management and we had that connected to a Azure Log Analytics as well connected to our WAC server. It worked great and it had great scheduling and reports. Then they decided to remove the MMA agent and this tool and push us to use ARC. We tried it and started putting servers, then if went from freeware to $5.00 per server. Yes ARC gives us better reporting as well as improved AV information, and we use it for critical servers. So for the other servers we were looking at moving back to Config Manager but now that WSUS is going away we are looking at options. https://learn.microsoft.com/en-ca/azure/update-manager/migration-overview?WT.mc_id=Portal-Microsoft_Azure_Automation
