<sarcasm>What I like the best about Microsoft is that they listen to users.</sarcasm>
I'll give you two examples:
- changing the default options menu on Windows 11 File explorer. STUPID. If it isn't broke, don't fix it.
- changing the behavior of the taskbar - can't drag it to the border you prefer. STUPID.
- Not Windows 11 but office - adding a feature to hijack the default browser to edge. Tacky and whorish.
Microsoft screws with things that work perfectly fine for reasons only God knows. Then they start tossing in all sorts of new crap that get in the way of users getting their jobs done. And hotcake, you think this is okay? And all of the advertising? This is why on my Windows 11 laptop I have 4 Windows 10 VMs. I work for a living.
I will give credit where credit is due. Rather than forcing reboots in windows 10 and 11, the idiots in charge have made it a gentler process.
