MicrosoftmacOS user here... One of my biggest gripes (leaving aside the app almost doubled in size) is the lack of a list view. Theres the absurdly BIG (HUGE) tile view and then the button you think does a list view actually is a smaller tile view, with icons/tiles about the size of the tile/icon view of the old app but taking more space for added information. In other words the compact view uses more space than the "big" view of the old.
Been following a lot of the Beta versions (basically been on Beta track since there was one) and for the first time ever I have backtracked on version because of the space wasting UI that I very commonly use on a 13" laptop. List view looks like it loses the last connected date/time even though it looks like there is an option to show it, for me it didn't show the information that 10.9.9 does. I like and want a real list view with columns because that helps me work with the 120+ machines in my list. For me that means sticking with the 10.9.9 beta.
A lot of people have commented on the name, and I agree, the name is really bad. "Windows App" is just so generic it'll be hard to search for in just about any context. "Hey I have an issue with the Windows App" "Which Windows App" "The Windows App" "WHICH Windows App"... 🙂 It need SOMETHING to help identify it... IMHO...
