I'm on a Windows 11 laptop and can connect to an AVD using a custom credential provider using the Web RDP client, but the Desktop RDP client stopped working a few weeks ago -- with or without the custom credential provider being installed. I loaded the Windows App (Preview) and can login to the AVD with the Web version, but not the Desktop version -- same as the RDP client. Any idea why the web versions can connect, and the desktop versions do not? The error message is: An authentication error has occured (Code: 0x800706be). There is a toast message that says We couldn't connect to the remote PC because of a security error. If this keeps happening ask your admin or tech support for help.
