    Hi Nathan,

    Good Day.

I am new in this community and please bear with my English as I'm not a native English speaker.

I am seeking for a solution for the Feature update to Windows 10, version 1703 — also known as the Windows 10 Creators Update. This update is failed to install receiving an error code 0x800705b4. I ran the Windows Update Troubleshooter, and it says that problem was corrected, so I tried to install the update several times and the problem still persists. I have checked the update history and some updates were installed including Update for Windows 10 Version 1511 for x64-based Systems (KB4033631) but the Feature update to Windows 10, version 1703 is failed to install.

Is there any way to fix this issue and still get the version 1703 from the windows update and/or direct link to obtain a copy of the stand alone installer for the said version, if any?

Any help would be highly appreciated.

    Thank you in advance.

I have the same issue as the gentleman's note above me.
    Trying to install 1703 on a HP 650 Laptop, running Windows 10 64bit O.S.
The auto installer has listed that the package has failed to install several times. Yet, other items have installed.
    Any solutions would be appreciated.

Is it "Reasonable expectation" to think that a 73 years old lady for who I had bought a New Laptop (ACER) with Windows 10 Pro in Hungarian language, that has 0 computer knowledge beside 'Login, e-mail writing, browsing the Internet can figure out from all the maze that Microsoft has created, could figure out how to Update to Version 1703, when even I who has a bit more knowledge about the previous OS since 1993, has a hard time with this infamous update.I pulled through because I am resilient, but even my lady friend here in Canada, could not figure out how to Update this version.

Has Microsoft created this Windows 10 for people that have a University Degree in Computer Science?

I would like to have a Reasonable Answer, please!

I had to laugh, Mr. Molnar, when I saw your response in my mail box this morning. My mind flashed back to an incident years ago when Steve Jobs and Steve Wozinac were creating the Apple Computer platform. (I'm familiar with both Windows and Macintosh systems.) Mr. Wozinac (sp?) presented their creation to a rep at IBM systems, trying to sell the idea of the operating system's ease of use. He stated that; they were trying to create a operation language or computer, that even a 'house wife' could use.
In the movie they made when telling the story of Apple's founding, this scene was played out, and the IBM man sitting behind the desk looked at the character playing Steve Wozinac and replied; "What would a house wife want with a computer?"
When Apple first started, Bill Gates was updating DOS, and indicated that Apple's OS would never really beat out his. Then...
After realization of what was happening around him in the 'real world,' started panicking and throwing together Windows 3.1. Now...
Flash forward some 25 or so years later, and what do you see? Just about every house wife in the world using either a iPhone, Windows or Android phone, (All mini computers running WYSIWYG O.S.) to do their everyday chores.
Lately though, sometimes, I think Microsoft has forgotten that early objective; "A computer so simple to use, that even a housewife could use it!"...lol

    On the instructions on how to update the BIOS;
I have the original BIOS on my laptop that came with it and the OS 8.1. system.  Version; 'F.22."
    I'm running Windows 10 now.
I went to the HP site as you suggested, and noted that though they did not have anything for Windows 10, (They referred vistors to Microsoft for updates on this version.) They had made several upgrades to the Windows 8.1 OS till finally stopping at 'F.33'.
Since I'm running Windows 10, 64 bit, would it be ok to "upgrade" to the BIOS version HP did have available, for 8.1? (64 bit.) Or...
Would this cause problems with 10, after its updateing?
    Thank you!
