Thank you for the fast answer. Yes, I think so. These are VDI environments. The prompt makes the SAML token invalid and forces to use PRT, so the user needs to retype Username+Password for opening Word. Feel free to check. #2405021420001638 . It is no cosmetic issue, to retype the full credentials every day to open Word will not be accepted by the users and management. This will raise an issue for many of our customers with no solution, besides to switch to Office 2024 for extra money or fully shift to persistent dedicated devices, what is from financial point of view against the decision to use non-persistent pooled devices.
With today we have been informed, one of our customer is using M365 Apps Current Channel, no workaround is working here. If I downgrade to Semi-Annual Enterprise Channel it is working again. Is the Workaround already gone in the current M365 Apps Version and therefore in the next Version of Semi-Annual Enterprise Channel?
If so, we are facing an issue for many customers soon, with no solution. (Except with high financial invest)
MicLJ For what version is the workaround still working (except Teams)? I'm concerned it will hit all the environments soon. This would be a nightmare with the acceptance of M365 for our customers.
