Adam Steenwyk I have to say i cannot foresee the impact based on the information provided for our enterprise customers.
I need to understand the following:
1.) What specific update will trigger the popup on Win 10 and Win 11 systems? Based on my information the updates containing the change are currently in the release preview builds? But when to expect the updates that target the non-preview builds for Win 10 and Win 11? Will those updates be delivered even to older Win 10 and Win 11 versions?
2.) What exactly will happen for:
a.) Devices that are active directory joined and use Office product from Microsoft 365? I assume that most of them signed into the Office products with their M365 account so as far as i remember they will be workplace joined to Azure AD. Does the change apply here and they see the SSO popup?
b.) Devices that are hybrid joined and use Office product from Microsoft 365 + signed in with their M365 account to the office products? Does the change apply here and they see the SSO popup?
c.) Devices that are azure ad joined and use Office product from Microsoft 365 + signed in with their M365 account to the office products? I assume the change will apply here, correct?
3.) Does the popup also occur on Azure Virtual Desktop? What happens if the user already accepted the SSO Popup on their laptop and then sign-in to the AVD machine. Will the popup also occur on the AVD machine?
4.) In this video i saw what happens when the user intentionally or unintentionally does not accept the SSO and says "Don't sign in". An error message appears in this case. Not an optimal user experience here.
