Sorry Microsoft, despite my love and understanding for licensing costs for all the MS cloud products, even where the new trendy of the "paid add-ons" is now the new reality, at least the features included in the highest tier got enough reasons to be bought (like Intune Suite, 10 usd/user but well spent).
Universal Print licensing model is something I cannot accept. It could be large enterprise got no issues with it, due the seamless integration with the other Microsoft products they need, but all the customers I managed so far (20-1000 Users) complained about such licensing model, especially when other 3th party competitors offers a range of features covering all the needs for SMB and even bigger, plus some extra perks not included in Universal Print. Licensing model either per Printer or per User where costs/year are practically fix and much lower and all needs are covered and integrated in a very simple way with seamless integration in AAD. I really hope there will be a change in licensing model for Universal Print, since I'm definitely a fan of environment build only on MS solutions, but at the current stage I don't see any possibility to offer such solution.
