You are right. It takes us a little more time than expected. You can use the OMA-DM profile for printer configuration in Intune now. Unfortunately, it only works for Windows 11. An update to the configuration service provider in the Windows 10 OS to accept the profile is a work in progress. That Windows 10 update is planned for availability in the next few months.
