MicrosoftIt's understandable that security as well generating value for shareholders and PC manufacturers is the most important factor why this choice has been made. The good part is that Apple is offering more capable devices for lower cost now. Just recently I have replaced 4 x fully capable PC/laptops running perfectly fine unsupported Windows 11 with Mac Minis with M4 chip. More Apple computers will be purchased in coming months until whole fleet of family Windows 10/11 boxes will be replaced. I hope more people will make the same choice.
I just don't like the idea of being bullied into buying new hardware just to satisfy Microsoft and PC manufacturers greed.
PS. Ubuntu Linux and Fedora are great choices to stay away from Microsoft Windows (even ChromeOS Flex looks appealing now). Good job Microsoft.
