I've got 3 pc's at home with either gen 5 or gen 6 intel processors so are not compatible with Win 11. I certainly won't be scrapping them. If the ESU is too expensive then I'll move them all to Linux. I've got one PC that is Win 11 compatible so I can continue using that for Windows programs. Given the amount of money Microsoft make I think they should offer the ESU for free to home users. The small cost would be well outweighed by the good will generated towards the company.
