MicrosoftDefinitely disagree, I do not find mess helpful... not even a little bit.
And as bad as that is, it's actually even worse, because now that app names are "on the taskbar" (if you can count 2 letters being a "name"), they will no longer show when you hover over the app. So now the 2 letters is litterally all you get -- super useful! (/s).
I think I can recognize which icon is Chrome without the two letters and dots of "Go..." showing next to it all the time (indeed even regardless of what website is actually even open in it).
Users open apps on their phone every day by the icon, I think they can figure out how to open Chrome pretty easily by clicking the icon on the taskbar.
