David_Guyer Is there anything on the horizon that will improve the telemetry responsiveness of the product? This applies not only the new drivers feature, but in general, for much of Intune, where telemetry from clients can be excruciatingly slow to be returned and processed. I believe in the AMA you mentioned something about 8 hours being the goal for reporting back on driver install status, but in a world where agility and responsiveness are critical, having to wait a business day for client telemetry is challenging. I compare/contrast the telemetry responsiveness in Intune with JAMF, where telemetry return is often measured in minutes, and that telemetry includes actionable data such as the complete install log. I would love to see the telemetry goal posts in Intune moved a bit closer to the one hour or under mark.
Second Question: I'm an EDU customer, and Autopatch looks like something that would be welcome in this sector, but it appears the comparable EDU licensing (A3 and A5 security add-on) doesn't qualify us for autopatch. Are there plans to extend Autopatch to EDUs? In a sector where IT departments are often small, Autopatch would likely drive adoption of Intune, and be welcome by many.
