LTSC: What is it, and when should it be used?

Being on LTSC for a longer time will also get you further behind the real World so when the day comes to upgrade to say LTSC 2025 you might find yourself in a situation where your dev team has been quietly developing with VS 2008 and all of a sudden you have a migration Project on the scale of Windows XP to Windows 7. Ofcource there are systems that are best being left alone from the fast paced outside World, but they are few and far apart.

Sure the quality in Microsoft releases have gone down since they fired thier whole QA team, so please MS rethink! but using that as an excuse to go for LTSC, nah.
