Finding this in May 2022 and the only option I see is "Microsoft Store App" - which will only let me make something available.
Nothing that I can use to deploy something as "Remove" or "Uninstall" - like if I wanted to remove https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/p/dell-digital-delivery/9pprlnt023wc automatically.
I'm still going to have to use Proactive remediations, custom "Remove Dell Digital Delivery" apps, other PowerShell scripts, possibly some Store or AppX blocklist, or something similar to configure that APP as Remove/Block.
This is REALLY disappointing because we have several apps assigned as Uninstall from the MS Store for Business without issue because they confuse the user experience - like
- "Mail and Calendar" - We would rather unify on Outlook.
- "3D Viewer" - We have not needed this program, ever
- Skype - should use Teams or business communication. Do your personal communication on a personal device, or at least the web client
- Mixed Reality Portal
- Cortana
I would love to be adding the app version of "Remote Desktop" client to that list so that they will only have the full-featured desktop client, and removing Dell Digital Delivery in hopes that we can stave off OEM Bloatware, but I can't manage those as the "apps" that they are
Which also means that if I needed to make exceptions - managing them would be a nightmare
