Why is this being rolled out to consumer based installs and PC's?
I do not sign onto a cloud account, I sign onto a local account.
I do not want to sign onto a cloud account I want to sign onto a cloud account, I want to use my local account(s).
I do not need MS or any other company to have the ability to change my LAP's password, access a LAP's password for my PC or give one to any joeblow authority that asks for it.
AFAIK and am concerned, this is just another avenue for hackers to get onto my PC and/or network.
All the admins here might think it is great on a corporate PC (AND I agree with them and have use LAP's daily to gain admin access on the PC's I administer and repair at my own work) but on my own personal PC I do not trust any company to have possible access to a local admin account.
WHY anyone with a modicum of intelligence would want this is beyond me.
SO, MY question is can we turn it off and can we make sure it stays off and MS does not have the ability to sneakily, behind the PC owners back turn it back on?
