This blog post\thread seems to be getting a lot of views still, so I just wanted to take a moment to mention that I have published formal Windows LAPS PowerShell module documentation. You can find it here:

Most of the cmdlets are straightforward (IMO) however Get-LapsADPassword and Get-LapsAADPassword do have several nuances to be aware of.  There are multiple examples to help make those understandable.  Feel free to PM me with any feedback or submit a feedback issue via the doc feedback mechanism - happy to get feedback either way.

 

And to head off the next question:  the inbox Windows LAPS cmdlets do not yet support downloadable help, or -Online help.  I'm working to add that support in a future update.
