I'm having trouble activating 2008 extended support. I keep receiving the following error code when trying to activate.

 

Steps taken

slmgr /ipk "Our purchased Key"
cscript slmgr.vbs /dlv

cscript slmgr.vbs /ato 55xxx-xxx

On a computer running Microsoft Windows non-core edition, run 'slui.exe 0x2a 0x8
0072EFE' to display the error text.
Error: 0x80072EFE

 

We have a local KMS for server licensing and activation... Do I need to use the VAMT tools since we us KMS?  OR is something else causing the licensing problem?

 Any help would be appreciated!
