Advancing Windows driver security: Removing trust for the cross-signed driver program

its just comical at this point, bought a laptop for coding to not over use my main rig, last night i turn on my main rig and i find not only cant i use my NO ISSUES previously working Audio interfase... but when i go into the drivers that might casue conflict i find that also Line 6 wich is one of the biggest companies in guitar related gear is ALSO afected by this crap? this is all previously used hardware.... with months / years of system interaction, now simply gone. so, this brings forth the fact that if you buy a replacement for whatever is failing or decided by microslop it WILL NOT work anymore... you will be faced with the same issue of anotherthing breaking because someone or some vibecoded version of recomendation suggested it?... thats a great way to encourage users to star using linux.
