Great article. So if I'm getting symptoms in Windows 10 like what you describe above e.g. windows for PointPoint, Outlook and Chrome no longer update when I'm typing in them or after resizing appear white / don't refresh in the newly created window area, and dialogs for existing apps e.g. File > Save-as don't appear - could this be that I've run out of Handles?
It seems to only happen after I've had Windows 10 running for several days (suspend each night) and have left open many apps e.g. Outlook + PPT + Chrome (lots of tabs) plus have started and stopped Zoom and SnagIt many times. Once I start closing (or killing) running apps, the problem seems to go away for a while but I can then only open fewer windows before the problem returns.
I've rebooted now and am running Process Explorer:
So what should I monitor as the days go on? Right now I can see USER Objects at 100-800 for each process in the top 5 and handles at ~125,300 - so is that ok? What other items should I monitor in Process Explorer to determine root cause of my issue?
