The retail industry has faced significant challenges recently, both from a macro-economic perspective and an employee experience perspective. Some of the challenges impacting the employee experience include cost pressures, a need for innovation and efficiency in stores, a focus on sustainability and a challenge to attract and retain talent with a compelling vision and attractive employer value proposition.
On November 29th, Kate Feeney (Principal People Scientist), Jamie Cunningham (Principal People Scientist) and Susan Parr (Customer Experience project manager) shared their thoughts and best practices from working with multiple customers in retail on their employee listening strategies. They talked about what they are seeing in terms of the EX trends, common challenges encountered uniquely by this industry and some best practices and resources to help overcome these challenges.
