This was a really insightful read—thank you for shedding light on the current state of desktop UI test automation. That said, there’s clearly a growing concern in the community around whether WinAppDriver is still a viable tool, especially with so many recent updates in related platforms and frameworks.
Many of us are seeing compatibility issues with newer automation stacks, particularly when working with Windows 11. It would be helpful to get clarity from Microsoft on long-term support or possible transitions.
