Learn about the latest updates to ZoomIt v9.0

Version 1.0Please note that (unluckily) following statement from ZoomIt v9.0 page is wrong and should be corrected ASAP.
"ZoomIt works on all versions of Windows and you can use touch and pen input for ZoomIt drawing on tablets."
It still didn't work on my Windows 7 SP1 x64 (Ultimate) so once again I still had to revert to older v7.10.
So basically a much more close to reality version of above statement would just be (but it's my .002 cent proposal π):
"ZoomIt works on all modern versions of Windows and you can use touch and pen input for ZoomIt drawing on tablets."
JFYI I did my tests on Mon 5 (last week) and it always loaded properly inside notification area but as soon as I right clicked on its icon to try to use it, it hanged and stopped working immediately (so basically I couldn't see its menu because it closed immediately). At the end I made 3 attempts then just reloaded older v7.10 (that inside app shows itself as v7.1).
P.S. I'm already planning to also report this via GitHub with some more details (mainly I'll add related errors from Application Log contents) anyway ITMT I can confirm you all that same day WER has already sent full details of all 3 occurred errors directly to Microsoft. ππ
The expression "all versions of Windows," particularly when uttered by Microsoft, should be assumed to mean "all supported versions of Windows." Win7 has been out of support for years, as has Windows 95 and Windows 3.1.
Ok, I agree with you, using supported would be even better and also avoid even other minds (few I guess) to go even earlier than Win7 just like for the others examples you made. Then why not just make it explicit ? π
In the past Microsoft was indeed much clearer about confirming the same to ensure avoiding any confusion, and I know it always worked well. π
