This is a good addition, however what about batteries? The vast majority of Surface related failures I and my colleagues have dealt with involve the batteries, not only battery performance over time, but bloated/swollen batteries, which statistically seem more prevalent with Surface devices.
This includes the laptop models, which claim to be more repairable, yet the batteries are glued down without tabs, stretch release adhesive, or other repair-friendly choices that other manufactures use with similar or identical form factors. It's difficult for us to take the "commitment" seriously until this is addressed, and I do hope it will be improved in upcoming releases.
