MicrosoftCGregson Thanks for your feedback. Not sure when you last visited the Ideas site, but if you filter on Tooling (under Groups on the right) and then list the items by most recent, you'll see that I've commented on many of them. I do review them regularly.
For exporting to Excel: SSMS add ability to export (save) data from the results grid to Excel · Community (azure.com)
For multiple rows of tabs, you can pin tabs, and you can have the pinned tabs in their own row (with Tools > Options > Environment > Tabs and Windows, enable Show pinned tabs in a separate row). But if you want additional rows, then upvote this: SSMS: multiline mode for open tabs · Community (azure.com)
For the request of better functionality in the Template browser, I didn't find an existing request for that. If you could create one and provide more details about why it's painful to keep them organized (e.g. your workflow and what is problematic), that would be great.
For the request to make the Solution and Project handling more intuitive and have better features, I definitely need more details there. I believe you when you state that "it's a horror story" for you, but I use them and don't have that same experience. Understanding your challenges would be great. I didn't see an existing Idea on the site (feel free to search in case I missed anything), so please feel free to create one describing your scenario.
Lastly, the request to expose more attributes in the Object Explorer Details window for things like views, stored procedures, linked servers, etc. If you mean you highlight an object in Object Explorer and then use F7 to look at the details, then a list of specific attributes you'd want to see would be helpful. Again, I didn't see an existing Idea on the site (feel free to search in case I missed anything), so please feel free to create one describing your scenario.
