Why would I report anything on feedback.azure.com? Looking at the few first pages of the list there are items with several hundred, or over a thousand votes with status "Under review" for 4, 5, 6 years. The progress is at most minimal. This is why I am searching for alternative feedback channels, such as this one. Apart from that, why is SSMS feedback on that site mixed with SQL Server features, why isn't there a separate section?
It's hard to call improving the login dialog a great success. I could have done that myself in a couple of days, or at most a week, having to spend time to get acquainted with the code base. If you require significantly more resources than that, it means something's seriously wrong. Those highly paid top-talent programmers aren't doing their job. Or there are no programmers to take care of SSMS development. Features and improvements should be added at a constant, high rate. Otherwise we can call SSMS stagnated, or simply dead.
