SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) 21 is now generally available (GA)
Hi,
I have been using the 21 for a while now and I like the new features specially having Copilot which seem to save a lot of time. However, unlike previous versions, I have never seen this many crashes and hangs. I found myself having to restart it quite often and sometimes I lose my work because of this. Also the intellisense doesnt seem to have improved a lot for a long time where sometimes it doesnt work even when you refresh cache and if you are referencing objects through linkedserver then you are out of luck. I have seen some external tool performs superior in terms of intelliesense and auto completion compared to default, redgate as an example.

samsal7879 Thanks for sharing your feedback, have you logged an issue on the site (aka.ms/ssms-feedback) with information about the crash? We have resolved some crashes across the 21 releases (not sure if you're using the latest version, 21.5.14) but steps to recreate the issue and dump files are extremely helping in resolving those types of issues.
