Microsoftexcellent article on security enhancements. Until recently, I just though TLS1.3 was completely available in SQL Server 2022, I'm happy in SQL Server 2025 it has been extended to other SQL Server products. I'll test it again with SQL Server 2025.
I'd also love to see enhancements in the Certificate management. The tool is pretty dated and renewal of a certificate still requires restart of services. it would be great to have a GPO that could simply understand what all are required in a certificate when the server is setup with AlwaysOn Availability Group Listener (AGL) and automatically setup the certificate and renew before it expires.
