We have enabled SQL Assessment for SQL Server; however, our Log Analytics Workspace (LAW) is configured with ingestion access set to “Restricted public inbound” and query access set to “Restricted” (public access disabled), while public outbound access remains enabled.
We can confirm that assessment results are successfully being uploaded to the LAW. However, the assessment status remains stuck on “In progress – uploading results” unless we change the query access setting to “Allow access from all networks.”
We have followed all relevant Microsoft documentation and configured the required Azure Monitor Private Link Scopes accordingly.
Could you please confirm whether SQL Assessment for SQL Server supports Log Analytics Workspaces with public query access disabled?
