We have expanded our footprint of Microsoft R Server Virtual Machines and is available in Azure China, both China North and China East. This will provide our customers the ability to leverage Microsoft R Server 9.0 for building advanced analytics solutions in the cloud similar.
This includes R Server Only SQL Server 2016 Enterprise Edition , R Server on Linux (CentOS 7.2) and R Server on Linux (Ubuntu 16.40). They are available in several configurations to meet your needs. This release includes a lot of capabilities based on requests from our customers and you can read all about it here
We are working on expanding Microsoft R Server VM availability to all Azure Regions and will post an update when they become available.
