Thanks for putting up a blog .

just trying to understand "The billing granularity is one hour, and the charges are calculated based on the SQL Server edition and the maximum size of the hosting server at any time during that hour.  " How this beneficial to customers . if you are go to considered assigned CPU and not actual usage ,the cost overrun in matter of 2 or 3 years compared to buying perpetual licenses . there is feature provided to autoscale/dynamic scaling of cpus . what if we Virtualization software with hot add VCPU , in these cases hopefully we might get cost advantage ..
