I observe that SQL 2016 (SQLversion 13.0.1601.5 / PatchLevel 13.0.1601.5) wants SQL 2016 SP3 from Wsus.

Servers with SQL 2016 w/latest CU (CU17 SQLversion 13.2.5026.0 / PatchLevel 13.2.5888.11) do not detect SQL 2016 SP3 as 'needed' from Wsus. Is this by design and must be installed manually?
