I am experiencing some serious problems with the move feature. I have set up a library on a site and configured the columns to correspond to the original library on the origin site. When I use the move feature sometimes the content from one Handled Metadata column overwrites the contents in another Handled Metadata column even though they are not compatible and the terms are not available to select. There is also an issue with the Editor and Modified columns. Sometimes they are both changed to current time and the user I am logged in with. Sometimes only the Modified column is changed. When I check the version history these changes seem to happen in the last version. It is very frustrating since it is not a consistant error. It happens on about 1/3 of the documents.
I did the exact same thing for another customer a couple of weeks ago and it worked fine but extremely slow.
Has anyone else experienced this and do you have a solution for it?
Edit:
It seems that the problem with the Editor column has something to do with the version. It works for major versions (1.0, 2.0, 3.0 etc...) but not for minor versions (X.1, X.2, X.3 etc...). I have not figured out why though.
