I'm confused on OneNote move support.
I am specifically trying to deal with departing employees and their un-shared OneNote notebooks.
You have stated both that OneNote moves are supported and then contradicted yourself by referencing the old hand-copy method...
@Reid Culp OneNote can be moved if you follow these steps: https://support.office.com/en-us/article/Move-a-OneNote-for-Windows-notebook-that-you-ve-shared-with-others-56c7659e-1850-49a6-8874-e2db6b440cd4
So can you please clarify if we can use the "Move..." functionality on OneNote notebooks or do we need to use the old manual process..
- is moving unshared OneNote's supported?
- is moving shared OneNote notebooks supported?
- What about moving notebooks that have encrypted sections?
- Are there other limitations such as features supported by OneNote 2016 desktop and not app
- Example - moving a notebook that has embedded office docs inside a page (not a link/attached document, but the file is actually embedded and rendered)
Thanks!
