Two questions on the incremental files feature when migrating from a on prem file server to SharePoint Online.
1 After the initial migration is complete, for subsequent migrations should we expect a delay when new or exsisting files are migrated in an incrememtal migration? Meaning once the migrition in software says it's complete and it shows the report, If we browse Sharepoint online should all the new uploads be reflected immdiately? Or does it take time for Sharepoint to reflect the changes in the web browser? We ran a test and found that it seemed a file that was edited on the source was not migrated, then we realized after checking later that the updates in the file suddenly appeared hours later, is that normal?
2 How does the logic work on overwriting files that already exsist? For example if your done your first migration. Then for subsequent migrations what logic does the tool use to overwrite an existing file in SharepShare Online? Both if it was edited on the source and if files were edited on the destination before the migration? We ran a small test and found that files that were edited in SharePoint Online after the first migration got overwriten from the source file server even though now the source modified date was older than the destination, is that normal?
