Thank you for your interest and concern. The "new files experience in Teams Files tabs" feature has had a few adjustments along the way since original disclosure, with signals that it was coming soon; this included increased scope and a recent performance tuning that targeted quality versus being date driven. That said, when I produced the video and the above blog to correspond with all you can do with SharePoint in Microsoft Teams, I wanted to include the new files experience so that it was true to production experience without quickly being out of date; and I do understand the notion of it not being accurate at the date the blog was published. I take this responsibility, and know that it will be short-lived per current planning. Be on the look out for the Targeted Release announcement soon. I've added an update to the blog above, and will remove this once the capability begins to roll out.
