KrystianCH When you compare the cost between the storage in SharePoint Embedded ($0.20/GB/month) to Azure blob storage ($0.018/GB/month), that means you're just paying an additional $0.18/GB/month...
But that additional $0.18/GB/month gives you all the document management & ECM features in SharePoint, the ability to open Office documents in the web clients, for all those files to be covered by existing Microsoft Purview, compliance & security configuration in your M365 tenant, the ability for these docs to surface in search in your M365 tenant & Office apps, and have full access to them using the same Microsoft Graph APIs Microsoft 365 developers are familiar with. Not to mention any new features & capabilities added over time...
IMHO, that does seem like quite a bargain to get all those additional features on your content.
Another way to look at it - how much would it cost to not only build & maintain all those features I mentioned above if you stored all that content in Azure blob storage? I suspect quite a bit more than $0.18/GB/month over the lifetime of the app.
