Of course you are welcome to your opinion filipeferreira645 , but I can assure you that this specific issue was not cunningly engineered to make Project Online harder to use to encourage our customers over to our other offerings. Our communication to our Project Online customers on the impact here certainly should have been better, but this was a SharePoint change announced back in February that is now rolling out. I think the announcement last year that Project Online has no end of life was a direct recognition that we have many customers for whom Project Online today is a great fit and that the market for the newer offering isn't quite that market. We will however continue to have changes in SharePoint that will have impact too on Project Online, like the SharePoint 2013 Workflow end of life in 2026. I'm sure there may be others, and the Project engineering team will deal with these as they come along. I still believe Project Online, and Project Server are the right choices for many customers, but we do live in a world where difficult decisions have to be made about the security of these platforms. If you have details of which customizations simply no longer work, I'd be interested in hearing more details, and see what mitigations might be available - and as mentioned in the article above, we have ongoing discussions and are exploring what options we have to lessen the impact of these changes - so actionable feedback always welcome.
Best regards,
Brian
