Using Project Online custom Rich Text fields in Power BI
In Project Online under PWA Settings/Enterprise CustomFields and Lookup Tables I created a project level multi lines of text field called Project Status Summary. I am modifying the text for Project Status Summary field in the Project Online Project Details Page.
I am using the Project Online Content Pack for Power BI. Under Remove Other Fields in the Power Query editor, I was able to add the custom field. I would like to use a Power BI visual text object that can display it in rich text. However, when I view it in Power BI, only the text remains. That seems to be true at the table level as well. What do I need to do to pass the rich text data for a Project Online project level field?
If that is not possible, it would be nice if I could at least do something similar to the Project Description field where it allows for multiple lines of text. That field only passes text to Power BI, but if I use <Shift><Enter], I at least get line returns in Power BI. That does not work with a custom multi line text field.
