Project Roadmap is a very useful feature allowing the project lead to oversee multiple sub-projects managed in the Project for web.
There some gaps though:
- When a task is deleted in the Project for Web, it is not deleted automatically from the Roadmap - someone have to find it and delete manually.
- Status of the project tasks is not synchronized from the Project for web. This has to be done manually, but why not using sync for that?
- Additional statuses, like At Risk and High Risk, have to be set manually while they could be calculated based on the progress status in the original plan compared with the timeline.
- Project managers working with Project for web (with Plan 1 license) cannot update the statuses of their tasks in the Roadmap. It looks excessive to assign expensive Plan 3 license just to have ability to update Roadmap line for the project manager working only with Project for web.
