MicrosoftMicrosoftIt doesn't help collaboration with Project for the Web - gone. The only full featured Microsoft Project is desktop only, plan 3 and plan 5. It can only be downloaded and installed by the administrator of the account. As of now Microsoft is still supporting this version.
If anyone who has switched to another app that brings web collaboration and same functionality can you share what you migrated to? Di you try to migrate your in process project plan(s) to it?

Planner is essantially a task management solution, not a full PPM solution - for that you should check out http://www.altus.pro which provides two way integration with the Project Desktop client (if you need it), a Project Online type interface with simialar (and extended) capabilities, extensive integration with Planner, Jira, DevOps and a host of others, extensive reporting via PowerBI (out of the box), and powerful AI enabled project creation and status reporting. It has become the go to PPM replacement for Project Online (for good reason). :-)
Oh don't worry, they screwed up Planner for task management as well in this whole process. I'm not sure who's idea it was to completely change Planner in Teams, but it is now impossible for anyone to add comments, and has been changed to some ridiculous chat, not showing who made the comment or what time - which we need for our updates and tracking. Additionally, no one can enter a chat in any of the planner cards unless everyone else is out. We as a team are all in there all the time. This is FAR from an improvement to this previously very easy to use and seamless tool! This has made my planning of and tracking and communications of what is going on consistently, an impossibility, and incredibly difficult. The whole purpose of using Planner to put this together was to have a centralized ongoing real time communication without adding to our emails and additional meetings, and now that is what we are going to have to revert to. Another “brilliant” fix from MS! I am told that there is no going back either! Who’s idea was this?!
