This is a completely disingenuous and intellectually dishonest response. You have fully eliminated the concepts of subprojects, cross project dependencies, association of goals to sets of work, bulk updates to tasks, and many other features. The new product is unusable for anyone trying to manage anything beyond a basic project. Yes you have a "portfolio" feature to create roadmaps but you literally cannot see dependencies in the portfolio.
I have noticed in recent years that MS is doing product development with a bunch of enterprise software architects who don't actually have any experience in the domain they are servicing. I mean you clearly don't understand dependency management becuae you trashed them completely in the release of this product.....This might be the worst Microsoft product failure since Vista. There is not a project or product manager on the planet that would have written requirements to support the absolute pile of crap you have made the project tools. So is this confirmation that you are not using your own products within Microsoft to manage you product development? Or do you just use project server and really don't understand the impact you just caused....You are going to loose billions, unless you magically make some changes quickly. The mass exit is coming and if we have to take the time to find something else to actually meet our needs, we are not coming back. You will not be able to give it away.
On a side note, you have created an opportunity for a startup to disrupt you, so thank you for that because the level of suck in this space is just ridiculous.
