It would be really useful if Microsoft could make its products respect the localisation of the user, especially with regard to dates. Whilst USA prefers to use dates in the format of MM/DD/YY, Australia, where I am based uses DD/MM/YY format.
Whilst when I am in a task the date shows in the correct format for my region, all the columns in the main views of Planner show the dates, like Due Date column in the USA date format - i.e. M/D, which is confusing to all my staff. What's worse is that because it displays as M/D, rather than MMM DD (such as MAR 9), anything with a single digit can be read as due on 3 SEP, rather than 9 MAR.
Why can't Microsoft consistently build products that always respect the local region settings?? Everything is always built with only American-centric, rather than a multi-national focus.
