Lets only hope the 3 dot ellipses - the 'Add to My Day' comes with it....
And the final missing link... If only they could allow us to put these tasks into time blocking so we can more easily & automatically coordinate tasks & projects around meetings would be most wonderful.
We have moved on to usemotion.com - it is excellent, the automation is brilliant. Saves a bucket load of time (in our case almost the effort from 1 person is removed). It is surprisingly good for a team inspite of the complexities of teams regarding management of time & tasks. It works well because it has the many missing features in project, and planner, and to-do.
Unfortunately for Microsoft, Planner Premium + copilot is still out of date. Usemotion is a bucket load cheaper, and a huge amount better. It is a very big relief, the only sad/negative thing about Usemotion is that tasks have to be transferred & managed outside of the Microsoft ecosystem. For our team it is 100% worth it.
I'm a Microsoft enthusiast, so I really do hope someday Microsoft see how many millions in $revenue they are missing out on every day because their 'tasks' systems are not anywhere near where they need to be. They have let it fall too far behind.
