Sorry if I missed this elsewhere in the comments, but does anyone know if the new Planner in Teams will enable us to turn Outlook emails into Planner tasks and assign them to a plan/bucket without having to use Power Automate? Bonus points if it actually links back to the email itself (not just subject line) and if some Planner functionality gets added on the Outlook end - but I'd be satisfied with this working for flagged emails if nothing else.
Before I go through the trouble of setting it up manually via Power Automate, can someone tell me if something like this is coming in the next update?
The potential integration with Outlook is the #1 reason we're switching to Teams/Planner from Trello and other disconnected tools. We're a small communications team within a larger organization where most of our colleagues still prefer to send us requests via email. I can't imagine we're the only ones dying for this feature!!
